I will be happy if LSU and Auburn win. Keep the streak alive and LSU will extend it in 2012

SEC is down this year. We should not be surprised by the results. Teams like Central Florida use this as a spring board for their programs and we look at this as just another game. Nothing in it for us. Aggies look at our game as a statement game as well that is why I think we lose a close game.

Georgia got its butt beat.
Tenn was robbed.
..not just the 1 sec, but the penalty prior.

SEC hasn't been able to score points against what's suppose to be lesser competition. Hope it's not a sign about how good our defense rally is.

I don't know about robbed. There was also a blatant, flagrant late hit that didn't get called and there clearly a second on the clock when Yates spiked the ball.

1 sec left, but had 16 people on the field. With that rule, all u need to clock the ball is the C and QB. Just take the illegal formation penalty and kick the FG

if you look at the replay it was not a late hit as the Tenn player was pushed into the player and that is why it wasn't called but even the announcers kept saying it was a late it and it CLEARLY wasn't. I still don't believe there was 1 sec left on the clock but it should have never gotten to that point anyway with the missed XP.

Weakest I have ever seen in the east side of the conference. All the good teams are in the west. Maybe it will pick up next year.

Bob davie? Is that you? That late "hit" is cause he was pushed late.

I think these "lower" bowls had weaker SEC teams from the east as some have pointed out. Hopefully from here on out it is a different story.

The SEC Championship and then the National Championship are the goals of SEC teams. These bowls are consolation prizes and are used to develop next years teams. I want to win the Cotton Bowl but am already looking forward to next year. It feels like an exhibition game to me. I always want LSU to play well and win but it probably means more to teams that haven't been there before.

With the conference championship games, the bowls seem to have not the interest they did twenty years ago. Have you noticed the attendance at the earlier bowls? Music City was sold out because of UT but most of the others were way down.

I would not be shocked at a go through the motions type of performance with a loss.
Anything aside from another inept offense performance would also be a surprise.
A loss to A&M would drop us having been with a 10 -1 record in the TOP 5 to a 10 - 3 record barely in the Top 20. A good season but another year of failing to get the most out of the talent. And that situation would be totally on the coaches.
