Pryor admits to unauthorized contact-to play in Sugar bowl. Ridley apparently falsely accused-not allowed to play in Cotton Bowl. CAM father found to have asked for $$$-CAM plays in BCSNC game. Where is the justice and outrage?

Pryor and Cam are marquis players who will bring viewers to their respective bowl games.

No justice plenty of outrage. Just teaching parents to ask for the money up front. That way the kids won't think outside the box to make the money they need.

I mean come on Cam was thinking of his future and his family. Pryor and Co were just trying to get by, punks.

Link please? And no, unsubstantiated rumor/opinion threads on TD don't count.

There is no proof whatsoever that Ridley was falsely accused. Just because a poster claims this is what he heard, doesn't mean that it is true. PERIOD.

Outside of that, it should be more of a concern that academic fraud by Cam Newton was ignored more than anything.

I think its fair to say the NCAA image has taken a beating the past few months...after showing some teeth when it went after the Trojans the NCAA for some reason has turned into paper tigers now lately.....soft as baby s**t basically. The Cam and Pryor rulings are all about the $$$$$$.

Reluctantly I concur. This is why the 4 super conferences need to happen, get the power (TV money) and tell the NCAA to get bent. Even the mighty SEC has to bend to them b/c of favorable rulings past and now present. 4 super conferences could get the power and break up the benign NCAA.

Ridely, himself, stated, he is sorry for putting himself in a compromising situation.

How would you classify the following in terms of "Level of Compromising":

a) Having a cheat-sheet in your pocket... but not using it (throwing it away after the class).

b) You know that the teacher is prone to recycling tests... So you talk to somebody who has taken the test before and you ask what is on it (not specifics - just areas of emphasis, for example)

Just curious.

No harm in that I guess. Simply asking someone what is on a test is not cheating (especially since there is no proof you asked.)

NCAA=CORRUPT and only care about making money for themselves. They don't want the player to have any money God forbid

I believe you probably presume too much.

FWIW - I don't have any heroes except for my younger sister (and that's not a story I plan on sharing here).

I was simply curious as to what LSUTANGERINE's thoughts were regarding where the line is drawn in regards to the 2 situations I posed (since his viewpoint is that of a teacher/administrator, not a student).
