11 contributors
8 starters
4-5 players on NFL rosters

there is some quality in there, just not a lot of it.

OL in that class really set back our running game in 2008.

McCray is having the best rookie season followed by Riley and Williams.

Our WRs from that class had more HRs than receptions. There were guys that looked like attrition candidates when they committed, like JD Lott. At least last recruiting class we didn't take anyone like that, and so far this class I don't think we have any.

he's their best special teams player basically

it's amazing what he can do when actually put in a situation to succeed

I think 6 or 7 of those will be in the NFL. Definitely not sub par.

We must not have needed DEs that year at all, having only signed Pep. We didn't go after Kentrell Lockett either.

After looking back at it the only other in-state kid that would have been a good take (in hindsight, because everyone passed on him) would have been D'Anthony Smith that went to La Tech. Should have went after him instead of Deas .

11 good quality players with an extra bonus given to Jared Mitchell for his contributions to the National Championship baseball team.He was definitely worth the scholarship.
