I saw a thread last week about wanting Applewhite at LSU as OC.

Per Orangeblood's insiders - they posted at 1:30 p.m. today the following:
"As a staff, we've now talked to a few sources who have indicated that Will Muschamp is not targeting Major Applewhite or Duane Akina as coordinator candidates at Florida.
Another person we spoke with who is close to the situation said as of this morning, no offer had been made by Muschamp to bring Applewhite aboard.
We'll continue to monitor this situation because things could change as Muschamp gets settled, but for right now it appears Muschamp is looking in other directions.
Alabama DC Kirby Smart continues to be a hot name as a possible Fla DC candidate.
The name being floated around by people close to the Florida program last night was Dana Holgerson as being high on the wish list at OC."
