FWIW, I'm excited this one is indoors. I remember it being extremely cold for a while

Freezing my arse in the upper deck that day with no sleep bc we went out to celebrate new years eve. It was fun but damn it was cold and windy that day.

i was there...

way too early, way way way too early. Sat right on the line where it crossed over from LSU fans to Texas fans (my brother and sister went to UT, so we had a mixed group)

I was really pissed after that game, thought we had it at halftime.

I forgot about how early it was. We stayed pretty close in a hotel and walked over. Don't remember Texas fans being all that special, but I was just so upset about that loss

I was there and it was brutal. That was the 10 or 11 in the morning start time. It was freezing at kickoff and hot by the time we blew the game in the second half.

This was actually the last time I watched a bowl game on TV

What was the estimated fan ratio?

Marcus Randall played his best half of football in that game. He was insane in the first half, running and throwing.

I was one of them. Had a great time. Talked with, got autographs from, and took pictures with the players after the game behind the Cotton Bowl.

P.S. Roy Williams is still wide open.

I WAS THERE! 10 AM kickoff sucked though. and of course texas and roy williams killed us. old cotton bowl was nostalgic and loaded with history but there was no leg room and the sight lines were garbage. there was maybe 10 yards or more of space from the back of the EZ to where the stands started so it made things really farther away than they should have been. my knees were up in the back of the seat in front of me. we were in the EZ opposite the tunnel the teams came out from. Jerryworld will be a NICE venue. very nice.

Texas was projected to be in the title game, but ended up in the land of cotton with a hobbled LSU team.

Leaving the game, you'd think that the Longhorns and Chris Simms just won the Rose Bowl. Needless to say, the game sucked.

My nightclub was in FULL affect, and I tried to liquor up as many Longhorns as I could that weekend.

I was there. It was cold and the 10am kickoff sucked.

Marcus Randall played two different games (1st & 2nd half)

and O'Neal lit up the UT return man during a kickoff.

Good call. Guess the "process" failed that day, 'cause we certainly know the DBs were properly coached by Sabear.

It was freezing arse cold that morning, and we had endzone seats in the sun.
