My fiancée is turning 27 soon and I want to take her somewhere nice. Any and all ideas welcomed! Thanks in advanced!

Ruffino's and tell them it's a special occasion. They'll give you a quiet table and treat you well.

A little less fancy, but still romantic and quaint is Bistro Byronz on Government. Great food. Get the carrot souffle and/or blue cheese chips for an app.

You'll get better answers on the food board, but I would recommend Latil's Landing at Houma's House if you want to it be something out of the ordinary.

La Provence - can't be more than 60 miles away.

ETA: Keep her blind folded the whole way. Maybe even her hands tied - yeah, that'd be a nice touch.

Maison Lacour and get the soup Jacqueline. Just a fantastic restaurant, awesome service and the food is the best in town. It's quaint and romantic too so she will love it.
