No brainer to hire him for OC. He has experience with multiple offensive packages and may have an idea how to use Shepard. Plus, pairing him with wilson can help recruiting even more.

Has he ever been more than a WR coach? He may be the greatest OC ever, I have no idea, but I'm not sure I want to find out while he learns here.

Curtis Johnson is my dark-horse candidate. He can recruit and coach w/ the best. All of the Saints WR's are top flight. He was the recruiter from hell in head to head battles with the U. Plus he has worked w/ SP for a few years now and he has NFL connections.
I like other candidates for other reasons too I just believe he is due a promotion.

Werent there rumors this past offseason that he was going to USC to be their OC?
