Crowton gone? Or bowl victory? (Choose only one.)

Things that make me say, "Hmmmmm...."
If you had to choose, which would it be:

Option 1. Crowton is fired before the end of the year, but LSU loses our bowl game.

Option 2. LSU wins our bowl game, but Crowton is back next year.

I'd pick this one, because that wouldn't mean it took a loss to make it happen, if that makes sense.

Get rid of Crowton. I could stomach dropping far into the depths of the bottom 25 if I knew Crowton was gone and we were getting a competent OC. I really don't think he's gone though, as much as I would love that. Let's face it. We're 10-2 and we are going into next season with 2 senior QBs. Highly unlikely to look at a new coordinator with 2 senior QBs coming up, or if we do grab a new OC then they will have to learn a whole new system (not sure if I'd trust JJ in a brand new system lol) and probably wouldn't look that great.

Option One.

Long term net gain for the program.

Like it has any bearing on reality.

It will be both.

option 2. Crowton comes back and we probably will not win more than 8 games next year. Then, Miles can be let go.

You have to think longer term than just next year.

The new OC should be brought in for the bowl practices.

Although to the crowd who doesnt care how LSU plays and only looks at the teams record, Option 2 is the logical choice.

Bowl victory means nothing, but getting rid of Crowton is crucial for the immediate future and long-term success of the team. It's a no-brainer if you ask me.

In the same vein as this thread, it's probably better that we lost against ARK to keep Les and the powers that be too happy with our season. Another bowl loss would probably go further to getting rid of Crowton.

Getting rid of him right now may very well increase our chances of getting a W in the bowl game.
That being said, I don't see him going anywhere until after the game..... Dammit.

Option 1. GC gone. Who cares about a cotton or cap 1 bowl victory in comparison??
