Barreca`s restaurant,is it open?

The others are correct in that it is not open for regular business. It is a strange situation in that he has told people a few times that he is close to being ready to open again. They keep doing minor work around the outside and it really looks good.

If you want to be in that area, Chateau Du Lac or the Galley or less than a mile away on Metairie Rd. and both are very good places.

There are a couple more around there as well. Mark Twain's Pizza and something else right in there around it, I can't recall. Or go back into the city at Canal and Mandina's or behind it Ruby Slipper.

I think Katies has reopened as well behind Liuzzas.
