we'll see how those guys do next year.
I love Claiborne, he has played great opposite of Peterson. Im anxious to see if he can keep it up as our #1 guy.
I think Minter can be as good a Shep, or at least close to it. Ryan Baker has been one of our better defenders this year as well.
Our DL has been pretty average, esp after Montgomery went down. Nevis has been the lone guy to get pressure on the QB. Mathieu has probably been our 2nd best pass rusher.

Yeah, the most successful packages were with Baker, Mingo, or Mathieu blitzing. We'll continue to see that for the next 2-3 years, and we have a lot of young D-linemen who should continue to improve. Edwards stepped up the last few games, and I think Downs and Montgomery should be solid starters as well next year.
Maybe I am too down on Minter, but when I watched him play, he looked lost on most plays and couldn't wrap up the running backs. Sheppard's best strength is that he rarely gets lost. Hell, it looks like he is telling Stefoin Francois were to go half the time.
