Not yet, but going in a good direction. This resembles Tress's first year at OSU a lot (7-5, big rivalry win on the road). Never know.

Too early to say, of course. But Kelly did a pretty darn good job rallying ND to those last 3 wins. They've had a ton of injuries right? QB, RB, TE, 2 WRs, DT, and a few others? He is trying to change a decade or more long stretch of losing football. A culture change like that is no easy task. Maybe he's on his way. I do like college football more when ND is in the mix.

couple close losses to tulsa and michigan state go the other way and they have a real nice season at 9-3.

A few LBs and safeties have missed some time, but you've got most of them.

Agree. What I was arguing about with people saying that he should be better with his talent, is that he has talented guys, but they're not "football players". Hopefully, this is just the beginning.

Kelly reminds me of Saban and the challenge of turning LSU around in 2000. Thats too bad b/c I liked the direction of the program under Charlie.

Solid win by ND. Both defenses played well, USC forced turnovers, the Irish didn't yield much.
ND's green QB outplayed Mitch Mustain though.

Yes, they are so back I could not find the USC/ND game anywhere on TV for the first time ever.
