Looking for something cheap but not a complete shite hole. We usually rent the cabins at chicot but they're booked up for months. Thought about trying out crooked creek, anyone ever been? How much are the cabins? Another other cheap places around here to check out ? It would require a cabin bc we do not have a camper and tents suck.

Bogue Chitto in Franklinton just opened up and they have some cabins. Miles of bike trails only down side is the limestone dust from the roads.
Percy Quinn has some as well but they stay pretty booked.

I went last year and had a good time. Cabins are fair.

Gravy, I can get you some camps/homes for rent in Toledo Bend. I rather that than going to some cheap/basic cabins in a state park.

Who dis?

L'anse meg made me think of Lakeview on HWY 13. They have bands there every weekend and a good time if you want to camp close to home.

Check out the LA state park website. You can view which parks have cabins and book them online.

Been wanting to try that place. I drove through it once, but never stayed. Looks like I would like it. May go there in the Spring as a change of pace from Indian Creek.

Gravy, I just got back from Intracoastal City. I took a drive through Palmetto Island State Park. It is very nice. Brand new cabins, and close.

There goes that idea... I talked to Lurch earlier today and he said that they've gotten pretty shitty, you have to bring everything with you from spoons to sheets... Not tryin to carry the whole house with me.

I beg to differ... I don't need to sleep on a bed of pinecones and freeze my cock off to feel like a man, brah. Anything away from my tempur-pedic is camping imo.
