Is it safe to say that w/o being called a JJ lover. . .JL hater. . .JFK shooter?

Because it is still as true now as it was in the UTk game.

It was that way the whole time this season.

Just ignore the people who are in denial after Week 11 of the college football season.

Everybody knows they look mediocre. The issue is what the causes are.

Let us all hope Mettenberger signs with LSU and becomes the savior that they have needed the past 3 seasons.

But you'd think they would develop at some point.

I've not been allowed to ask that.

The only safe conclusion has been: "The QB's both suck because JJ is just terrible"

What I am trying to get at is. . .

. . .is it safe to say that JL is pretty damn terrible, too?

I'll say it like this....If you have two quarterbacks, you have no quarterbacks

No. It's not safe to say either one is inherently terrible. Do you really think that Bray or McElroy or Garcia or Murray or Brantley would look any better if they were in LSU's system right now? Come on. How can you judge any QB based on this piece-of-shite offense LSU has? They can't even get the fricking plays called in correctly.

He may be, but I am not really sure. He does not get the liberty of starting the game and getting into a rhythm, he has always been a rhythm passer. I know he has struggled as of late, but for a passing QB being pulled every other possession is counter productive.

People earlier said maybe it was good for him to see the game for 2 possessions before going in, I don't agree. I think that is 2 wasted possessions.

The reason people question your motives is the fact that "J.L. sucking" is extremely important to you. I can see why people question you.

If they had a "developer" that would happen.

Both QBs were fine imo. Stats look bad, but there were 5 drops.

Both are terrible. As bad as crowton is, if he had a good qb the offense would be decent see 07. Don't get me wrong the fact that crowton can't develop a qb means he has to go but there is just nothing there to work with in JL and JJ

Sigh..... Terrible? 9-1 equals terrible QBs? Frustrating at times, sure. But terrible? Wake up, dude.

I would say both are mediocre, not terrible, but mediocre QB play makes it more challenging & puts more pressure on everyone else in the SEC. As far as Crowton is concerned, he is most likely out after this season & he has done a very poor job in QB development.
