In 2011?

I'll go on record and say that I'd be happy to have him back. Hes on pace to be a thousand yard back and hes earned every one of those yards. Hes not flashy but hes a bruiser not afraid to truck somebody. All that said, I think he moves on to the draft.

I think he does come back. I don't think he will be projected in the to 4 rounds.

I have no idea. After seeing what happened with Scott, I think he might go.

I would think it would benefit him to come back next year and replicate what hes doing since hes really only had this year to showcase his skills. But it wouldn't surprise me to see him move on.

i seriously doubt that ridley would be drafted any higher than the sixth or seventh round, and that is ONLY if he wow'd a team in a workout or at the combine.

not to say that he won't have a NFL career...but doesn't look like a high pick

Probably not going to matter which year he comes out in. Will not be a high draft choice and be a backup/special teams at best at the next level.

He could choose to move on to the NFL, but what effect will this possible lockout have on that? However, regardless of whether that takes place, unlike Peterson, he would be better off staying in college another year.

I don't think it matters what year he comes out either--he is who he is. And considering he's already been in college 4 years and the short lifespan of a RB, I wouldn't be surprised if he left. I hope he comes back, though.

kind of hope he stays, we'll need his leadership qualities. Knowing that his stock won't really be effected either way I think his love for the school keeps him here.

Ridley is excellent in special teams coverage, which should ensure him a solid career as an NFL backup. I don't think he leaves early for 6th round money.

I think Scott improved himself a lot in his last year at LSU.

I don't know much about NFL stuff, but if I were a pro manager, I would have liked him more after the additional year.

I can see this too. RBs do tend to burn out of usefulness at a young age. Might as well get everything out of your pro potential while you still can, even if your first year contract won't necessarily be any better.

No doubt. People who say we have no leader on offense really haven't been paying attention. He's been the leader of the offense pretty much since Scott went down at the end of last season. He's one of the best and most honest interviews I can ever remember at LSU.

I'd say it's probably 75/25 that he stays.

Ridley, Hilliard, Hill, Ford, Blue, Ware, Shep (sort of) and Gore at scatback. Don't know if we have been this deep since 2003.
