Leonard Fournette

Had even Trey Granier scared to fill the gap on his big arse. The new Scout video of him has him beating up on Thibadaux, including Granier. And we all know Trey is a beast himself.

I watched it to and thought the same thing. I don't know if Trey's a beast after watching that video. He was scared the whole video. I am not impressed with Trey at all makes me wonder what LSU sees in him.

Trey is a legit LBer. But Fournette is just a man among boys as a freshmen. This guy will be like Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker, and Adrian Peterson. That kind of ELITE RB

You really believe he elwill be that elite to be talked about with those 3 guys?
I am not Doubting you bc I haven't seen his film but that's pretty impressive to compare a freshman to those type players. I hope your right and I hope he bleeds purple and gold.

He'll be a Tiger as long as Frank Wilson is still here, and yes, look at his size and stats against his level of competition. He plays at ST. Aug, one of the elite programs in LA. He is also 6' 1" between 210 and 220 lbs, and already runs a 4.5, and will get bigger and faster. He is a creation.

St. Aug's offensive line is ridiculous too

LSU should totally stop recruiting him based on your 30 seconds of film study vs. all the time they've spent watching his film and observing him in camps.

Let's slow down on the Bo Jackson and Hershel Walker talk guys. Let him progress through high school first. Remember all the hype people placed on Hilliard as a freshman and he hasn't been as dominate the last two years.

Jesus, please. This guy is good but the hype people on this board are giving him is ridiculous. I haven't watched a lot of him but I didn't see elite speed personally. Not enough to keep throwing around Peterson comparisons much less the other two.

Some kids peak sooner than others and unfortunately also reach their ceiling. Soon, other kids are catching up. You have to keep this in mind when looking at 8th grade or freshmen phenoms. Hell, any HS kid to be honest.

Accept he is not playing against 8th graders........he is playing against some of the best teams in LA. We will gat a better idea next year when St. Aug replaces some o-line. they may be moved down in class though.
Would be interested to know how old he is, not just what grade.

I will guarantee that Frank Wilson is not the deciding factor in his enrollment to LSU...who was the last back to put up huge numbers in purple in gold. He needs to be featured the way Mark Ingram and L. James at Oregan and it wont hapeen at LSU.
I love LSU faithful fan I am

Hester in 07, Scott in 08, Ridley this year has been given plenty opportunities to prove himself. Hes the feature back. If fournette comes to LSU he will be given the opportunity to shine if he earns it.

I just don't feel LSU does enough with the talent that's pumped in every year. It is a headache to see all those guys (Randle, Sheppard for examlpe)get so few touches. I've watched Leonard play since he was 5yrs old and he has always played above his age and skill level and been dominate and i dont think anything will change between now and '14

Yeah, but all that talent goes to waste due to pretty sad coaching and no strength and conditioning.
