If LSU wins out and Auburn loses to Bama, both with one loss, are they considered West Div.
Co-Champions? Article on Fox kept saying LSU could go to NC without winning division or Conference.

AU has to lose the SEC and some other 0 loss has to lose as well. Also LSU needs to play impresively and win out obviously. You just can't say it's impossible for LSU to get there.

We are still co champs, technically.

I don't want to be Ole Miss, though.

By SEC rules, LSU is a West co-champion, but will not represent the West in Atlanta.

I don't think we're about to put up a banner for it...

+1

But unlike Ole Miss we do not claim co-championships.

Yes i.e. Ole Miss 2003 but the Barners get the tiebreaker by beating us and goes to Hot Lanta. We then don't hang a Co-Champ banner like Ole Misery in 2003. LOL Geaux to Hell Ole Miss!!

Exactly. I wouldn't expect any banners.

100%, Auburn gets to represent the west because they hold the tiebreaker.

I thought so. I know we don't go to SECCG but to say we didn't win our division is not completely accurate.

That would require Auburn losing to the SECe Champion and that isn't going to happen.

The BCS would melt if BSU and TCU were overlooked by a team that didn't even win it's conference championship game.

and LSU, we claim western division titles from 96 and or 97.

To answer the OP, yes. If 2 teams are tied, they are both SEC W champs. Head to head winer goes to SEC CG.

But since they're not named Ole Mrs there will be no celebration or banners for it.

what he is trying to say is,..yes Auburn has the head to head win...but with the loss to Alabama, they will drop in the polls, LSU would be ranked in the top 5..and if ...if..Auburn wins in SEC chmp. game, will they be able to jump back ahead of LSU..????...food for thought...but I don't see this playing out that way...
