My twist on your question is if West Virginia, who was a double digit favorite, would have beat Pitt.....

If your daddy would have pulled out, would you still be around to post such a stupid question?

Then WTF is your point??

its a fact that he caught the ball with 4-5 seconds on the clock. Had he not caught the ball we would have kicked a FG.

Look, you're a bad poster. It's really that simple. I know you don't know it, but just look at this thread alone. Reflect...change....move on. Or, just GTFO!

People would certainly understand that the Ole Miss game wasn't the first time he screwed up clock management but, rather, the first time that it hurt us.

The clock would LIKELY have expired prior to the refs blowing it dead and so there wouldn't have been a FG. Plus, that WEAKASS argument relies on SEC refs to get about .6 seconds right when they cannot see, even on slomo replay, that PP's foot was, at least, 7 inches in the field of play.

BULL frickING shite

There is ZERO chance the officials cannot stop the clock in 5 seconds.

.6 seconds right

Are you BLIND??

Can you not see that Byrd is already rolled over WITH the ball in his hands with a FULL FOUR seconds left on the clock?

You honestly think that in 5 seconds following an incomplete pass even the slowest official in the world wouldnt be able to stop the clock?

Seriously???

You realize in the time that was left on the clock most position players could have ran 40 yards?

I love when idiot posters make threads like this and then try to play it off after getting schooled.

Thats such B.S.. I was at that game and lets just say he fumbles the ball around for a second before dropping it incomplete. That one second was not something we could have counted on to kick the F.G. PERIOD.

Horrible call and we were damn lucky to win.

Then we kick the FG and its a win anyway. You're not one of those fricks that thinks it was a dangerous play, do you?

That one second

What one second?

There were four seconds left when he hit the ground. He could have bobbled the ball 2 or 3 times and there would have still been time left on the clock.

The better argument against that call was "what if the ball got intercepted. Would Miles still be here today?"

Thank you OBUDAN....wasn't sure if anyone really realized this. The ESPN announcers were so caught up in the play that they didn't realize much after Flynn called for this snap....the playclock included.

We had 4 seconds left after the catch. We would have kicked a field goal.
