I am over 40 and stand up and yell. Can't yell as much as I used to but I try.

I always wait till the "I'll stand all nite" crowd leaves once the Tigers get down a FG. We have a few of those guys this year, they bring it when we are up or something....but the first time we punt...they are done.
I even hear em talking before kickoff about how everyone can just kiss their arse....

I'm from the standpoint that you should follow what the section you are in dictates. For example if you are in the student section, you are probably standing during every play. However, if you are in a more family friendly/older crowd you will probably be sitting most of the game. This being said, I do think that if you are in a traditional sit down section that it is still appropriate to stand up during key moments in the game. If it is 4th and goal with our defense's back to the wall, I hope the whole stadium is on its feet.

I'm over 50 and stand for most of the game. Especially if it's close. Do what you want, just support the Tigers!!!!!!!!!!

I with Tiger stadium had recliners like the one in my den. Speaking of, I think it's time for a nap.

Sit in the east upper where its full of quiet, boring old fricks who sit during the game.
Every week there is a select few that get REALLY upset when they sit behind me and my friends, because we stand the entire game, and make as much noise as we can.
My my my, you are a big strong fellar aren't you!!! I'm impressed........

I am over 60 - been to more LSU games then some of you are old....so who cares, I love the students and I will stand and yell with all of you - at least until I scream my false teeth out. See ya in Tiger Stadium.....

Anybody who gets upset about standing up at a LSU game is an idiot
Posted on 11/1/10 at 3:04 pm to Tiger Authority
I'm under 40 and I'd tell you to sit your fricking arse down

How in gods name can anybody sit down for a big game like this? Anytime it's close or a big game I am NEVER sitting at home. I pace around the living room.

The way that I look at it is that I payed 600 dollars oft hard earned money riser this game and I am a college student, so that is saying a lot. If I want to stand and do the fricking chicken dance all game, I will because I payed for my ticket just like you did and of anything, it means a lot more to me than it does to you. I'm not going to be standing the whole game, but I WILL be up during crucial events and there us nothing against that in the stadium code of conduct, so if you want to ruin someone else's time, you can eat shite because you do not make the rules in TS. And if you are that much of a little snitch, maybe you should stay home

Two little LSU 20-somethings stood in front of me at Auburn the whole game; talking, waving at friends and texting. THAT drives ME crazy.

I'm 40 and I don't care one way or the other. I want to be loud and involved. I can do that sitting or standing.
I hate going up and down constantly. I'd rather be either for the whole game.

+1
If everybody else is standing, then hey, stand up. I take issue with the 4 assholes that stand while everybody else around is seated.
Just be courteous and don't be "that guy." If you're sitting down in the student section and yelling at people to sit down, you're that guy.
If you're in the chair-back seats standing up and blocking people's veiw, while the rest of the folks around you are sitting, you're "that guy."

you can make just as much noise sitting as standing.
