why not just delete them all? That's 26,798 potential alters/hi-jackable accounts. If they really want to post then they will re-apply.

Pretty sure advertisers only look at hits. Ppl with accounts that never view the site doesn't help. You could have a 1,000,000 registered posters but if only ten of em actually view the site then nobody's interested in advertising on that site.

A lot of people register just so they could get the full viewing experience: Seeing avatars and sigs, which threads/posts are new to them, unfiltered profanity, etc.
