LSU is an Elite program and its HC job is one of the best in the country.
Ive read some stupid crap on here but this is by far the dumbest thread ever.
If you are not an alter you need to find another team.

This post is pretty short sided. Florida and Bama both started their run in the 90s, a complete decade before LSU. We have proven since 2001 with the right coaching and local talent base, we are capable of winning in this conference.

Georgia has not won a national title in 30 years. Auburn has not won in over 50. LSU has two in the last 7. Since 2000 they have more BCS bowl wins than every SEC team other than Florida and have more wins than every other SEC other than, yes, Florida.

You say we need more crystal balls to be elite like Florida? Both programs have 3 National titles. LSU has tons of trdaition and has been elite since 2001. And if we claimed the same National Titles that Bama claims then we could have 7. We just dont. Your and idiot.

There is one way to shut pdxlsufan and all the naysayers up. That is by winning championships in the form of West and SEC to start with. Win championships and nobody can tell LSU shite. The most effective way to make yourself competitive is by having effective leadership in the program. Either an SEC team has it or it does not. Unfortunately we have a 2nd tier coach. Change the leadership and win championships and shut everybody up.

The reality is LSU just finished the last decade as a very close second to Florida, in the best conference in the land, and that along with two national titles the last seven years does make them elite in a 12-team lead. Hell, that makes them elite nationally. 'Bama is back there as well but Au has not earned that recognition yet. Can LSU sustain elite status if the current coaching problems aren't corrected? No. Time is running short but they haven't fallen from the mountaintop just yet.

LSU has the second most wims of any sec team since 2000. we are third in sec championships and tied for first in the most important category and that is crystal balls. If you want to put anyone in front of us i would say bama but flordia was elite under the ole ball coach but it seems like CUM only was el;ite because he had the best college football to arguably ever play the game. We see how great they are without a qb and brantley is better than both our qbs and we are 7-1 and they are coming off of their third straight lose.
