will beating bama save our season?

i know some of you are getting pretty negatve right now, but would a win over bama compensate for the auburn loss? would you feel more confident about the direction of the program? would it matter how we won? for me, im still excited about the rest of the season.

Beating Bama and Florida would make for a good year, and would make the AU game seem like a glitch, so Yeah!

nothing could be better than a bama win.
absolutely. this would set us up to win out. not that we couldn't drop one more, but that wouldn't be so bad. 10-2 is great in this league, and for funsies it would mean we were mathematically in the hunt for the west till the end.

Wins over 'Bama and Florida in the same season would mean a whole lot for the program IMO. And though UT was down this year I think it's only the 2nd or 3rd time LSU would have beaten 'Bama, UF and UT in the same season. '07 being the last time that happened.

Wow ... it's really not THAT bad. If we lose to Bama and win out otherwise, that's 10-2. It's not ideal and puts us 3rd in the SECW ... again ... but the sky isn't falling.
Conversely, if we beat Bama, but lose to Arky and the Black Bears ... that would suck massively!

It would certainly help. We are going to have to improve a lot in this off week. Bama is going to be fired up & we still have no QB.

Our season doesnt need saving just yet, but if we can beat bama and end will one-loss and a BCS bowl. Its a huge win. Even if we lose to Bama and finish with 2 losses its still a win

i personaly dont feel like our season is over because of the auburn loss, i was trying to remind everyone there is still a lot to be excited about in lsu football.

I'm not as concerned with wins and losses. Its the inept way in which do both. We never seem to progress. Its this fricking wheel spinning mentality that eats me alive. If we come out agisnt Alabama and we play sound and have a great gameplan and execute it, I have NO problem with losing. Nit at this point in my frustration. I only hope for coherency on the offensive side of the ball. I'm sick of watching this spectacle in idiocy.

The only point of playing a season is to Beat Bama. Otherwise, disband the football program. If we went 1-11 and our only win was against Bama, I'd be OK.
