We are 7-1 and even at this point of the season

with the record we have now, we still kinda control our own destiny if we win out with a little help from Bama when they play AU.
Why is it that I'm seeing the glass half empty even though we are still in the hunt?
I just don't have any faith in the offense that they can muster enough points to run the table. Has an LSU offense ever been this pathetic before?
I know all of this has been discussed many times before, but as a fan it's just painful to watch this team play this year.

We don't control our own destiny at all. Auburn would have to lose twice for us to even have a chance at the SEC West.
We pissed away our destiny with a pitiful offensive performance Saturday.

You can't "kinda" control your own destiny in football. Either you do or you don't. In 2007, for instance, we didn't, but an unexpected set of events happened to put us in the championship game. We didn't kinda control our destiny.
