When my sister and I go to the Ole Miss/LSU game, I would like to go to the best place, great atmosphere location to get something to eat, and would like to know where the best place BEFORE the game would be, and if different where the best AFTER game place to go. I would appreciate some suggestions. She knows the area better than I do, so I will pass on the info to her.

Before - Chimes at the north gate. Get there early if you want a table.

After - I'd say Chelsea's on Perkins. It's a bar with food and live music.

Chimes and Walkons-before and after if you want to walk.

You can't walk to Pastime or Chelseas.

People will give you the Pavlovian Walk Ons bashing, but if you are looking to have a few drinks, and some bar food, it is fine.

Not in walking distance, but Sammy's on Highland has really good seafood, and TJ Ribs is fun and has good food. Just up Acadian from the stadium. On campus, you can't beat Chimes

If I am at the North Gate, from there, where is Chimes??? Sounds like it might be the place to go before the game.....after we find a parking place!!!! Then after the game, and we are in the car... where would be a good place to go?? Pastime or Chelseas, and where are they located????

Look immediately about 10 feet to your left

Advice for the day: Since you are new, don't listen to Gritsbabe or Gris Gris. They will lead you astray!

Nope!! 'bout 200 miles!! So, I'll be pretty dang hungry by the time we get there!! Thinking of packing some food and hanging around the stadium, but thought it might be fun to get into the spirit at one of the local places to eat that I am sure will be FULL of Tiger fans!

First time in Tiger Stadium? Be sure to save belly room for the Sushi in the first half - and - best of all, the cajun dog in the 2nd half. Oh, and wear a lot of Ole Miss stuff to the game - that always go's over real well!

Chimes is really the place you are looking for, but be prepared to wait for your table. Seriously. It will be crazy packed. Get there early. And I mean early.
