He didn't look good against McNeese but he didn't use his legs at all and everyone has let down games.

I do think that it's clear that he did play better in the UF game (although still not as well as Lee played)

If JJ can make some plays with his legs, the 2 QB system might actually work pretty well today in keeping AU off balance. I expect to see Lee taking the majority of the snaps with the our match up advantage against their secondary though.

I think LSU wins by 9 or more

JJ will not all of a sudden start lookin good...but limiting turnovers and penalties will be the key

I like your optimism. I hope the 2 QB system works as well, but if JJ pulls a McNeese again, we are doomed if Les keeps him on the field.

I will be impressed if does not throw and int, fumble, and passes for a first down. Baby steps baby steps.

He'd have to throw for negative 100 yards, take 5 sacks, rush for net negative yards, throw 4 pick-6's and lead us to a bunch of 3-and-outs....and Miles would still give him the game ball and name him starter for Bama...If he has the game you suggest, Lee is toast for getting on the field.

From you, this is shocking, but glad to see the optimism.

Doubly agreed. I think JJ's running will actually be a key factor today. Auburn has struggle containing edge runs.

I don't expect him to light it up

But if he can play 4 drives and muster about 80 yards passing, 35 rushing and get some help from the running game then he at least won't be hurting us.

Put the Dos Equis down and move away from the computer...

Just kidding. I hope whoever is in at QB plays their best. Let's face it, LM will play both and so we need both to play their best and we need a team effort - offensively, defensively, and on special teams.

Sad that our expectations are so low for JJ that we're now considering him not completely throwing the game away a raging success
