They have the dreaded "fried to perfection" on the menu.

Other than that it was good.

I had the jambalaya and a lettuce wedge, fwiw.

I believe it's the "old" Mezza Luna in Prairieville.

I did not care for it and thought it was overpriced. I was hoping that the new place would be more casual and priced more reasonably, it is not. ALso a comment on the menu, something to the effect of "our food is served seasoned to perfection. please dont add salt" I thought it was a crappy thing to say, if I am paying for your food dont tell me how to eat it

I must have been blinded by the "fried to perfection" and missed this part. They had salt on the though.

Me too, it is probably more expensive than Mezza Luna. The place was packed though and they had live music on the patio.

They have a "5 courses for $20 special" that might draw me in for another try. I loved Mezza Luna until we figured out they were marking up their wine 300%. That pissed us off. Just NO need for that at a local place. A shame, because it's right down the street from us.

Went last night. Was no impressed. The best part was the lettuce wedge. The ribeye, while cooked very well, had too many herbs and other spices tha mask good steak flavor. The wife and I will not be back.

So I made a good move by playing it safe with jambalaya and a lettuce wedge. I'm not in a rush to go back.
