why is there even a band any more at college games?

think about it the band was made for back in the day before you had big speakers and good music so that the people would have something to listen to at the game between plays okay i get that but today we have the ability to play music that people actually want to hear on speakers and every time they do that the band has to go and play and then they have to take it off

for one i didn't ask the band to be there and they could just as easily play first down second down third down ont he speakers too i mean shite it's the same song every time not that hard

and so ppl are going to say "their here for the pregame salute too" well I say fine bring them out like the flag squad for a pregame show but then let them march back to their band house not give them free seats in tiger stadium for doing what playing their horns to themselves? no thanks

and noone watches the halftime show we could just have actual bands like real football games or even a magician or something, something ppl would actually see

i kno a lot of ppl will disagree with me but this is jus something that i don't get in my first year experiencing college football and i wish LSU would take a step to be more modern and not be stuck in tradition i mean shite we don't walk around in military uniforms anymore like LSU used to be why do the band need to still get so many priveledges they dont even play the songs we want cause theyre too pussy to hear our chants

anyawy go LSU and hats off to the players in the stadium that actually matter (the football ones)
