ESPN Bowl Projections

Based on their bowl projections ESPN thinks we will lose to both Alabama and Auburn.

Where do they have us going? Link?

I like where the media is putting us.

I think we will lose both of those games.

It is a shame that y'all don't have a good offense this year. I think with an average offense y'all would win the NC. I still think y'all could possibly win it allwith this defense but an average offense would justabout guarantee a NC this year in my opinion.

Thats why everyone is frustrated with the QB situation. If we get decent QB play, we have a chance to run the table when most people would have been happy with a 2-3 loss season. No one thought the D would be this tight.

For them to put an SEC-W team in the Outback just proves their idiocy.

At season's beginning, that would have been awesome! 2 losses, are you kidding me. LSU has won 7 with exactly nothing from the offense. Imagine if the O was average! What happy daze...

the chick thinks we lose to Auburn, Bama and Arky...

That's why I don't listen to any chick who professes to know anything about football.

So they are basically saying Auburn will run the table and get screwed again and not make the National Championship but get an at-large BCS bid in either Orange Bowl or Fiesta bowl. Man could you imagine how bad the meltdown would be if Auburn went undefeated twice in 6 years and got screwed out of championship? meanwhile LSU loses 2 games one year and wins NC--talk about bad timing is your an Auburn fan if that actually happened.

I would like to think our defense is better than Ole Miss's and with the game being in Tiger Stadium and not in Alabama, I know we will be up for the game. I am one fan that likes our chances against Alabama. Hell we were leading them in the 4th quarter last year at their place and I know we have a better team this year.

Oh...NO
If Auburn gets a bid in another BCS game besides the Sugar, and not the NC Game, they will not have "run the table". They would have lost to someone and not made the SEC Championship game and yet received an at large bid.

I hope Florida enjoys the Franklin American Mortgage Music City bowl.

I haven't read the entire thread, so I don't know if anyone else has made the same point, but it really doesn't matter where ESPN or anyone else puts us right now. We are complete control of our destiny, both in the conference and nationally. Kind of an unusual position for us to be in at this point in the season, but there it is. It will be VERY difficult for us to navigate the rest of the season unscathed, but we certainly have the potential to beat any team remaining on our schedule. If we can win out, we won't have to worry about the polls, so I wouldn't spend any time worrying about the projections at this point.

They'd have us facing off against Pelini in the Cotton Bowl which I think would be huge considering where LSU could end up.. plus Cowboys Stadium is only about 20 miles from where I live sooo... double bonus.
