to beating Florida. The Gators are planning to do whatever they can to stop Ridley. So JLEE is going to have a great opportunity for a 300 yard passing game while Ridley will probably get about 80 very important yards. The Defense will keep the Gators to a low score and LSU will bring home a hard fought 7-point victory.

Hopefully Crowton will have Ridley pound the Gator defense for two quarters, wearing them out and keeping them close to the line. Then let JLEE throw, throw, throw all the way to victory. If he throws an INT, get it back and throw it again, mixed with Ridley keeping everyone honest.

The Gators can be beat... should be beat. The Tigers are hungry, wounded, and should play fierce. Hopefully they will also play smart, stop getting penalties and take the ball away from the Gators.

OK.

So who is the key????

I will tell you. THE O-LINER!!!! NONE of this happens unless Miles and Crowton come up with a gameplan that will outsmart Meyer.

FLA WILL put 9 in DA box and force LSU to beat them with the pass.

I hope LES is reading this.

I have been saying this since the WASH game last year.

WISHES CAN come true, But in this case NOT likely!!!!!

The key Saturday is for us to give ourselves a chance. The most important thing bar none is to play penalty free football. If we can "not commit" a lot of penalties there is no way this game is a blowout by Florida. No penalties and then the worst case we lose by 7... worst case.

Guys, Florida will be the best defense we will have faced so far this year. J Lee hasn't had much work so far and has a great challenge ahead of him.

LSU winning will be very difficult but I'm not giving up by any means. Just not a lot of confidence with UM vs LM

That can happen if #12 is the QB. Guaranteed loss if #9 plays most of the game.

Turnover, turnovers and turnovers.

If we can keep those down and possibly create a few, we should have a fair chance at winning.

We also need to be able to run the ball successfully in short yardage situations and run effectively in general.

Just curious when is the last time an LSU quarterback has thrown 300 yards? Did Matt Flynn ever do it? Anyone know?

Penalties have to be kept at a minimum. Playing in the Swamp penalties and turnovers are the key to an LSU victory. I have faith in the defense, but having a second down and three turned into a second down in eight is a death nell.

The reason Ridley is the key to victory is because his power running is the best thing that can help our QB situation. Ridley may not have many yards, but every yard he has will get LSU closer to a victory in many ways.

Didn't he light up Miami in a bowl game as his first start?

Ridley has 200 more yards than Dingrahm and leads the SEC. Florida's rush defense is in the middle of the SEC... This is a no brainer...

J Lee minus Crowton is the key.

Actually, Brantley is the key. If he decides to be terrible (not a stretch, we generate more pressure and have a better secondary than Bama) we could reap in the turnovers.
