I understand that the students are having fun but when it starts screwing up the songs they need to know when to stop. It's a shame.

The people who fund the athletics are the members of TAF. And I am talking about the ones who make money.

No one is going to like it. It doesn't matter whether or not the band quits playing any song, there will still be profanity shouted at the opposing team followed by five claps. I'm not saying it's "right" or at all classy, but there is nothing anyone can really do about it unless they remove the students (which is a completely idiotic idea).

I'm all for pulling the frat seats and making them all general admission student seats. That's a damn good idea if in fact they are the ones starting this shite.

Okay. I am done with this thread because it is way too time consuming, boring, and I have more important things to do. I agree the chant for neck that the students say is dumb, but the older people at the stadium need to realize that they too were like us when they were in college. If you think otherwise then you are just ignorant. Also if you are on td.com before 6 pm and you currently have a job, then you need to reassess your priorities.

Way to get your feelings hurt buddy. Maybe mommy & daddy should've taken a few things away instead of coddling you so you may be able to wrap your little mind around something like this one day.

Btw, my LSU degree allowed me to get a job in, get this, Louisiana where I make my own schedule. Maybe one day when you get to wear big boy pants you could do the same.

It kind of is our LSU. At least the team is. We are the ones who socialize with the players. We are the ones who go to class with them. What is your relationship with the players?

Who do you think funds the stadium, the band, the equipment, the coaching staff, the practice facilities, the players' education? Hell, we're actually one of the few schools without a student athletics fee.

This^^

Also my mother's tuition money, my father's tuition money, my sister's tuition money, and my tuition money went to the school. However, that really doesn't matter. I'm a TAF member and a season ticket holder. My family has had season tickets since the early 70's.

Students need to try to remember in their drunken haze that there are children present and it is a family environment in Tiger Stadium. When y'all look out from the student section and see the other 85% of the Stadium, it is these people that in many different ways have contributed waaaaay more money than they have to LSU. So clean it up and have some freakin self control.

I'm sorry that you don't know how to read, because if you did you would notice in a previous post I stated there are no children around me, because I'm in the student section. The people who notice this stuff are looking for it with the sole intention of ruining someone elses good time simply because they are depressed with their own life. I bet you are the same kind of person that believes guns should be banned, God should be taken out of school, mosques should be built on ground zero, and all black people should be paid because 200 years ago because their ancestors were slaves. Yes, its being vulgar for the sake of being vulgar, its something I would never do in a different part of the stadium. I have sat around women and children at different games, yelled and cheered my arse off, and still remained classy. But in the student section im gonna get as loud and vulgar as I want. Write that down in your memiors. Aging-Liberal-Hippie-Douche.

You do realize that sound travels right? It's not like you're turning to your little gay frat buddy and whispering this shite in his ear.

For starters, I have a private practice that allows me to do what I want when I want. That's the great thing about advance degrees they definitely open up your career options. So my priorities are quiet wonderfully assessed. I will also say that my time in college was spent in quite a festive alcohol haze. I also managed to attend games and not scream profanity such as what is being said by the current student population at LSU. What seems "cool" for some is just down right embarrassing when you grow up and get a life. When you have to start taking your kids to games you might begin to understand.

Maybe so but they were loving the song and having a good time which then led to you having a few laughs over it. Kiss that goodbye.
