I think that's his own inside joke Peej. His shtick is to be a nerdy black guy that tries too hard to act black. Like 3434 said, it's predictable and to me that's what makes it kind of funny. He doesn't annoy me like he seems to everyone else.

Anyone remember him before his eye got fricked up and he was on ESPN2? He was like a totally different commentator then. Crazy.

If I remember right he actually injured it while filming a spot for ESPN. He was like trying out for a team (maybe the jets) and he got hit in the eye with a football. Had to have emergency surgery cause it had like crushed the orbital bone or something.

Yeah but it is not a glass eye...just not in sync. with the other...if i remember right...
