Said Jefferson: "They're giving Jarrett the opportunity to go out there and make plays. I would be very surprised (if I'm not starting next week). My performance today was pretty good. I really didn't throw that many passes. It's just something we're going to take on to next week."

For a QB to be a leader he first has to admit when he has a bad game and try to improve. Do you think Drew Brees says he has a good game when he has a QB rating of 15 and throws 2 ints?

See here is where JJ needs to learn from JL about leadership.

When asked about int in endzone. JL said "I threw the ball short and made a bad pass" Owned up to it and moved on....

Yes, and he's learning it from the best in the business.

3/10 for 30 yards and 2 interceptions. Four games in a row for under 100 yards passing. He's drinking from the same kool-aid container that Miles & Crowton share.

He only threw 6 fewer passes than last week and he only played half a game this week..

And VERY surprised if he does not start..!!

I did not like his demeanor on the sidelines when he was not playing. Looked like he was sulking and not paying attention to the game..

One thing you can say about JJ. He is not a leader.

Tool, you are so correct in that JJ is not a leader. Has there been any consideration by the coaching idiots to try him at another position? There is no shame in the fact that he is not SEC or any major conference caliber QB. A good athlete, but an atrocious QB.

I can't believe JJ made that statement even after reading it. The kid is certainly in denial. If he had said Jarrett really played well and I wasn't satisfied with my play but both Jarrett and me will work to elevate our play in practice and carry that improvement to the game.I think if he watches film he will change his mind or least the coaches may finally change their minds. Both Jarrett and JJ have a lot of room for improvement but JJ needs to make more improvement than JL.JL definitely looked like he has elevated his game and looks more composed than JJ.

Because it makes no sense at all and is indefensible, I fully expect LM to start JJ next weekend.
