We will beat Florida...

I know everyone will assume Florida at night will be too much for us, but I believe now that Lee will at least be given a chance, that Florida will have to prepare for 2 QB's, and that in combination with a tough and physical game with Bama, will place them in a similar condition as Texas, leaving them vulnerable.
LSU, on the other hand, has new life and a new/real chance, now that Miles can in no way insist his JJ-run and Ridley-run offense can suceed - it cannot, and I think Alleva will at least let that be known via direction to Miles. (The Ridley part is golden, but that alone is not enough).
We have a good chance now.
I think we pull it out. I really do.

You give Miles WAYYYY too much credit and assume Lee will start

If our o-line can protect Lee and the defense can contain Demps...i think we have a good shot.

Florida's defense held Bama to less than 300 yards of offense. Their defense will shut us down.
10 points will be enough to beat us.

You think Fla will drop two games in a row??

his ankle may do that for us.

Yea, I have a feeling that what most people don't realize, is that Florida outgained Bama last night.
If we dont force Florida into at least 3 turnovers, we lose. Also we cant turn the ball over at all. MAYBE once. Anymore than that and we are done.

I wish we would win,
your confidence is greater than mine.
FL is coming off a total humiliation, (points wise)
and the game is in FL... it will not be easy.
...they are better than the points showed.

I think odds are that UF will beat LSU, and here's why: Les Miles and Gary Crotwon.
AND.... JL's true second game of the season will be AT FLORIDA, with Florida coming off an embarrassing loss.
I'd put my money on UF.

They did in 2007, even with Lord Tebow.
That being said, I don't have high hopes at this point.

I disagree.
Florida scares me right now. They jus got their arse handed to them by a Bama team due to all the stupid mistakes they made. I have this feeling they are just going to play like mad men with something to prove next week. They'll probably beat the crap out of us.

I am with the rocketscientist.....We beat Florida in another ugly game.

LSU is not going to beat UF. Stop with this nonsense.

If lee gets the game then I think we beat Florida
Posted on 10/3/10 at 10:10 am to therocketscientist
We can win with Lee taking 90% of the snaps.

Miles has already said both quarterbacks will play.

Last year we scored 3 points on UF at home. What makes you think we'll do any better than that on the road. Defense will keep it close, but no offense will kill us in this game.

I think we have a good shot myself. Our defense will keep their scoring down, and if Brantley throws it like he did vs Bama we will get int's. JL can move the offense enough if we get 34 rolling. My biggest concern is UF has ball hawk DB's also. JL has to protect the ball and use the short passing game. They have int. chances also.
establish the running game as Bama did and play off it. Thats the key.
