If he keeps up his current pace he is in line to have to second best rushing yard season in LSU history. He's averaging 108.5 per, which would be a little over 1400 yards in the regular season.

ETA: It's actually on a little over 1300 yards which would still be good for second, but I'm an idiot and added in an extra regular season game.

He won't be able to maintain that level of production

This is why i hate how people rag so bad on our offense, they take credit away from him. having a great year, could have had 200 yards vs WVU

that's the positive vibe we need!

seriously, the one positive side about our offense and we can't even be hopeful that his success will continue.

i think it will be hard but i think he will be able to do it

People are specifically attacking our passing game

Don't be stupid

He won't be able to sustain that level of production

Not because he isn't good. He's the real deal. But they're not going to give him enough carries to even sniff 1400 yards.

Expect some of the younger backs and possibly even Murphy to start taking carries from him as the season goes on.

You do know that our passing is ranked in the 100s because our pass attempts is also ranked in the 100s.

damn, I gotta pull the page back up, but he may still be on pace, it'll be close though. I'm retarded and will leave the original post as is for shaming purposes.

ETA: Still on pace to be second by 20 yards.

You haven't watched him enough. He easily has a couple of 150 to 200+ yard games in him.

He could make those yards up against McNeese and ULM if Miles will let him.

Hey look at me, my name is just me and I think I'm the causal master of the fricking universe.

I wonder if you bothered to think that maybe our passing attempts are low because

a. We aren't passing the ball effectively so we call fewer passing plays
b. We can't sustain drives

Did you ever think of that in your master fricking causality analysis?

Maybe one of the reasons that we've attempted so few passes is because our QB has one of the lowest passer ratings in all of college football. Would you be putting it up in the air 35 times a game with that type of efficiency? I sure as shite wouldn't.

fellas, I started this error-laden thread to laud the efforts of Steven Ridley, not to have yet another piss-on-the-passing-game thread and the slap fights that ensue in those.

He'll run for 100+ on both Fla and Bama as long as he gets 20 carries or more.
