It is obsessive. But seeing as how I have a broken relationship with food, I have to be obsessive to get it done.

Like you said.. it's different for everyone. Personally, a week with no weighing would drive me nuts.

I know that with my current weight loss program that it's going to be slow going, and to help keep myself mentally tough I have to weigh less. I feel like if I'm only weight in once or twice a week then I'm seeing drops of 2-3 pounds at a time vs 0 or a tenth of a pound here and there. And that works very well for me

As he said, the scale showed 1.5 lbs more yesterday than today. It is impossible to know where you really are weighing once a week. I dropped 1.8 lbs from yesterday morning to today...but gained 2 from Sunday to Monday.
