How did you decide on your target weight?

It was the lowest weight I can remember being since being married. Thought I'd try to get back to it.

No meaning, it was a gaming handle/name I somehow created when I was playing Warcraft 2 back in the 90's. It's just kinda stuck with me over the years.

My goal was 165.4. Lost some more down to 163.6, so I am pleased.

I need to add some weight training, but I hate it so.

I used to be the same way with being in the gym. Now that I've been doing it steadily for a few months and see the progress that I've made...I freaking love it.

I recently took some more pictures of myself to compare to when I started a round of p90x3 back in April (this was the second attempt after doing it for 2 months earlier in the year but no pictures). The changes are drastic to say the least, and I'm stoked to see what happens in the final 4 months to get me to a year.

I can definitely see this. I started running in July and struggle badly to do 12 minute miles. And I hated it. Bad.

I joined a running group to bolster my running for triathlons. We run 3-4 mornings a week and this morning I ran 4.5 miles at a 7:56 pace.

The point is that I really enjoy it now, especially seeing results, and so your point is well taken.

I started my weight loss before Thanksgiving last year and figured if I could lose all through the holidays I would have it in me to keep the weight off.

Goal was 165.4. At 162.5.

And to whoever downvoted my last post. Heck yes I am proud of myself for losing the weight and getting some decent speed at my age.

So

Just keep posting away. This thread can seem like it dies every so often. I'll try to start posting on here more again and hopefully it gets me back on track.

Damn holidays.

Didn't mess up too much over the holidays, I weighed in about 3 lbs heavier then just before Christmas

New year, new start and new goal
