Well it's time to get back on the wagon. I was down to 185 before Thanksgiving and fell off during the holidays. I'm sure if I would have stayed with it I would already be at my goal. But I hit a plateau at 185 and stayed there for over a month and got bummed out that I couldn't knock any more off.

I found out one thing, sugar is like a drug. When I started my diet July 5th 2011. I cut out just about anything that had sugar in it. Over the last two months it feels like I've eaten more sugar than I've eaten all of last year. Now I feel like that's going to be the hardest thing to kick again. If I could kick my own arse I would.

Junky,
I ate more ice cream last year than the previous 20 combined.
The salty and savory are what got me up to 340 but after a couple years of dieting, I now have a terrible sweet tooth.

Re-fattening Peak - 206
Contest Starting Weight {office scale} - 200.2
Current Weight {office scale} - 190.4
Current Competition Loss - 9.8
Day 22 of 90
Yesterday's Calorie Count - 1200
Pissed off. Up again today on less than 1200 calories. I've gone up a little every day since Monday.
At the moment the office scale is showing the same weight as last week.
I'm going to wait a few hours before I hop back on for the official weekly weigh-in.

Hulkk, what did you do to drop so much weight?
Posted on 1/24/13 at 10:49 pm to Big Floppy TDs
He has done many things. Many low carb type diets {Atkins,Paleo} with some exercise.
I did mainly Atkins with almost zero exercise until I had already dropped 120. Added bike riding to the mix for a while.

Myth is correct. I did Atkins for about 9 months and lost about about 70 pounds IIRC. A year ago I switched to a paleo-esque diet (I still eat cheese sometimes but not much). Powerman says I eat more like the wheat belly diet, but idk really. I just eat. I'm at a point where I just don't eat grains/carbs.
And I do exercise. I lift weights mostly, compound movements at a high intensity, rapid pace.. I find it causes me to not lose as fast on the scale as I build muscle, but my measurements still go down.
Eta
And frankly, as I lose more and more, it gets harder and harder to lose. I am often indulging in temptations, and I'm actually pretty happy with myself where I'm at... but I'm still overweight so I know I need to lose more. I eat right the majority of the time, so it still comes off, just slowly.
