Wow...I read your title and I was not sure where to start to reply. Then I read Miles said it and it makes sense. Phew! Would have been a long reply I think.

So if Ridley rushes for 20 yards a game and fumbles once a game we can expect Miles not to make a change?

REALLY?

I will start by saying I want to see JL play...

he is correct in a way though. If your starter is struggling, but you KNOW your backup is garbage then no you can't make that change. I would argue though until you see that backup in meaningful playing time you really dont know.

My favorite quote from Miles..

quote:

The scenarios that we’ve seen in the last four games, that defense has played so dominantly that the offense did not necessarily need to exhibit every ability it has.”

So we are just waiting for our defense to be not so dominant before we really get the offense going...makes perfect sense...

How do you know this? JJ is worse in freaking 2010 then JL was in 2008. FACT.

Haha i wasnt trying to be misleading.. just didnt want chicken to jump my case for not being specific in topic line.. But seriously... How do you know Jarrett Lee is no good.. You dont.. he didnt play great his freshmen year... JJ is in his junior year and is one of the worst Qbs in all of college football... I honestly dont see how JL could do any worse.. Marcus Randall couldnt throw a spiral and he still did better than Jordan Jefferson

Its going to take LSU being down by 2 touchdowns in the second half for Lee to get significant minutes, sad but true based on Miles faith in JJ.

Here is the sad truth, we have two backup quarterbacks and no starters. It makes me wonder what was wrong with Garrett.

Dont agree with this at all.. How the frick do you know if JL is not starter material.. He hasnt played this year has he? or not enough to know one way or other.. some QBs it just starts clicking.. could be that way for JL.. not to mention he doesnt have to carry team this year like he had to in 08

And a hypocrite.. kill a player for almost losing NC game but Jordan Jefferson has done pretty good at keeping games close the last 3 games... how can you not reach 100 yards 3 straight games against not so stellar defenses and miles just be ok with it.. geez

I think JL is a starter. I dont care about him throwing Pick 6's. He moves the ball and will at least keep opposing D's honest.

So why did he replace Lee with Jefferson in the first place?
