Les will throw him in the fire against an extremely good defense. Once more, putting lee in a position to fail and drop his confidence more.
If I were Lee, I wouldn't even look to the sideline. I'd call my own plays and put my future in my own hands. If I fail, then I'd be in the same position but if I drove down the field and scored a TD, it would put Les in a bad position.
What does he have to lose?

If Miles waits until the UF game to give Lee significant playing time, he may be the dumbest coach in the history of football. UF is either leading or very close to having the most interceptions in the nation. I'd rather not see Lee at all then see him against UF for his first real action of the year.

I agree, I was having this exact discussion last night and I can see this happening. Lee will come in against Florida having only attempted maybe 10 passes all year and expect to deliver against that defense, which i hope he does. As for as the play calling goes, I know my 6 year old could do a better job, he would at lest try to utilize the three wide recievers more.

Didn't he do it last year with Alabama and he couldn't do anything. The O shut down when he came in. Like all the other times. He just throws it up for grabs and hopes one of the studs makes a play. Of course this year won't be his 2nd chance as people say. It will be the third chance. We will realize we have no quarterback

First time you come into a game, it is against the eventual National Champions. Nice example.

At this point, I'd rather trust our WR's to make a play than for the QB to hold the ball and take a sack. For example the UF game last year had to be the most frustrating game to watch.....just throw the damned ball!!

I agree...if Lester puts him in...it'll be under the worst possible circumstances.

Why put him in for one series only up 6 vs. WVU?

Gotta give him more than that.

Everybody is saying poor Lee like Les has never stuck his neck out for Lee against the fans. Im pretty sure in the pick 6 year Miles was the same to lee as he was to JJ now. People were calling for JJ and Les stuck with his guy who was Lee at the time till Lee got hurt. I want Lee to start but people need to quit acting like Lee's is like a beaten stepchild. Its funny the same people who act like that are the one who are booing JJ which is obviously affecting his confidence so which is worse-keeping a 2nd string guy 2nd string or intentionally trying to hurt the confidence of a confidence shaken starter?
