on Saints postgame show - "redikalus" that the fans leave with the outcome in question, and mentioned that W. Va fans were surprised. I'm with him on that. Yeah, I know it was an 8pm game, yada yada.

But for the 6pm Vandy game it was the same thing, and all last year. I sold my tix this year and watched from home, impressed in the 4th quarter that so many fans stayed and wore gold for the Gold Game - a solid wall of gold on the far side, only to realize it was the gold chairbacks. I don't get people who leave in the 3rd Quarter or early in the 4th.

I stay home when ambivalent about the team, rather than go and boo and/or leave early.

I can't speak for the whole stadium, but the only folks leaving early from my section were WVU fans.

So you're with Hebert bitching about people leaving early but you leave early sometimes?

There were some people in the student section leaving in the 3rd quarter. I don't understand why though.

Cue the "I pay my money, and can do whatever the hell I want" responses.

They're obviously welcome to spend their money how they see fit, and leave whenever they feel it's time. But I don't get why you'd pay full price for admission, then leave after only seeing half of your entertainment. It'd be like going to see seven or eight movies a year, and always walking out 50-75% of the way thru.

Who are these fans who left early? I was at the game and the stadium looked pretty full from where I was sitting.

The visiting sideline of the stadium have always been the worst fricking fans. Always the quietest and leave early.

There's your buzzword. Regardless, there was no mass exodus at the end of this game. Bobby Hebert is full of 'it.

No, he's saying when he's not into the game, he doesn't go, so he doesn't leave early. Didn't seem that hard to understand.

I never leave early. I believe in fighting 'till the battle is over. If you leave I understand why. We are having problems. But I hope you stay for the entire Tenn. game. It's a very important game for the team. They really need some home support.

Um, no that's not what he said at all. Why don't you read it again, if you're still having a problem, come back and I'll explain it for you.

It's been two plus years, people that have paid for tickets know what they're in for right now. Yet they still pay their money and leave. Seems silly to me.
