Right...but this is the second time we played a rank team and the second time we've almost blown a huge lead and lost the game when we should have ran the other team out of the stadium.

the only thing that i have come to KNOW about miles is that he is extremely stubborn and he has an aversion to change, even to a fault...
that being said, there's no way, until we lose 2 in a row, miles will start anyone not named Jordan Jefferson at QB for LSU....
he has hitched his wagon to Jordan and he's in for the long haul... sad that he get's so many opportunities and does nothing with it, compared to Lee, but it is what it is...

Will start: Jefferson

Sure. But you could argue that he's making the switch AT LEAST a week too late even if he starts Lee this week.
I don't think it will take a loss for a change to be made. All indications seem to be that Lee is practicing very well.

This poll is nice for hypotheticals. But didnt Les already say he was going with JJ against Tenn? And that they would "work" on the passing game again next week, yet again?
Posted on 9/26/10 at 4:41 pm to lsusportsman2
We've eclipsed the 100 vote mark and people are thinking it's about 60/40 in favor of JJ
I don't think it's crazy to think that Miles will start Lee and apparently some other people agree that he will start Lee.

I can pretty much promise you that not only will JJ start, but Lee doesn't get more than a couple of token carries late in the 4th

Should start: Lee
Will start: Jefferson
This, and I will bet cash with anyone who thinks different. Miles is truly to lost to fix problems. I have supported Miles for years, and now want him gone.

He's too stubborn to make a change

But again couldn't you argue that he's already been too stubborn
We've gotten nothing out of our QB play in 4 games this year.

Miles certainly likes Lee, but he likes Jefferson and what he can do with his legs. Miles thinks JJ is getting better, although he will say he also likes Lee.
JJ will start against Tenn. He will struggle, but we will win because the wind will blow the right direction for us or something, and miles will hang his hat on the 5-0 rack at the end of the night and sleep easy. Then JJ will start against Florida and that is when our nuclear fallout will finally occur. We will lose while only allowing Florida to score 17 while we eke out a 50 yard field goal and less than 150 yds offense. 17-3 Florida, lee starts the next week.

He can't think that now
Lee 46.92% in the poll BTW

Those mean the same thing.
If you'd said "Not who you think SHOULD start," they would be different. But they say the same thing in different words.

i'll tell you who. D-A-N O M-I-G-H-T

JJ will start. You have to realize that Miles was happy about the game last night. he was gitty in his interview after the game. It was disgusting. Every other coach I've ever been around in my life or seen on TV would have been pissed about his teams performance last night offensively. But not Les, he had the chuckles. Jefferson starts b/c our brainiac HC doesn't realize he played that bad

I got the feeling that he was really frustrated about our QB play

He's obviously starting Jefferson
Les has his guys and his guys will play. Sometimes that's good, sometimes bad. But jefferson is one of his guys and he'll play unless he gets hurt.
Sad but true

Lee should definitely start, but JJ will be out there again stinking it up. Les should start Lee now to protect any more damage to JJ's psyche by the boos. Of course Les only put Lee in to keep the boos from raining down again on JJ last night. He keeps saying that JJ had a great week in practice and is surprised that it didn't carry over to the playing field. He just can't fathom that JJ is not getting better....he still thinks that the more he plays the better he will get. ------ FAIL!!!
