Please excuse me if this is Germans but I don't read every thread on here nor do I go back a gazillion posts looking for the same topic.

Singletary's outburst when he was trying to call time out - why wasn't that flagged? Was he not extremely out of the Coach's Box? His out-of-control behavior ought to be subject scrutiny just as much as a player.
That was a penalty - period.

more likely fine than penalty. John Harbaugh $15K for Sunday's reaction but no penalty.

What I thought was weird is that he was waving his challenge flag in his hand for some reason. What the hell was he going to do with that.

I think if the refs would have had their shite together he wouldn't have had to do it. They should get a fine before he should. I like when coaches get all in the refs shite because no one else is going to.

I think when Singletary gave that Ref the Singletary stare, the Ref was definitely too scared to throw a flag. shite, had it been me, and Singletary gave me that look, I'd has said yes sir Mr. Singletary and put 5 seconds back on the clock.

I had to deal with Singletary at my workplace back in the early 90's. Yes, he IS as much an a-hole in real life as he is in the media's representation. He is THE worst "notable" personality I have ever dealt with. His display of the wooden cross made me cringe.

I was screaming for the flag. No way in hell a coach should be able to run that far onto the field and not get flagged for it. He is a horrible coach, all he relies on is his pump you up get in your face act. He is no way and X's and O's coach. They were talking about this yesterday on ESPN radio with Van Pelt I think it is.

The players should also have been aware of the situation and immediately called the timeout.

Agree, the media attention is annoying.

Yeah, when I saw him wearing that, for some reason, I immediately thought of Rex "every-other-word-is-frick" Ryan who does the sign of the cross coming out of the tunnel.

This. And there are 11 players on the field that can call a timeout. No pity for Singletary on this one.

How often do coaches actually get flagged for being out of the box?

Singletary is a class act. He was not complaining about a call; he has the right to call time out from the sidelines, and if the refs don't recognize him, it is his responsiblity to get their attention.

I think they put a few more seconds back on the clock due to the refs mistake.
