He'll be a fine player for Houston, but it's not like LSU was the only BCS conf. school that took a look at him and passed. He (and his coach) also didn't do a lot to endear themselves to LSU.

He was invited to camps to be evaluated, but turned down those opportunities. He and his coach were on Bama's nuts for a while, ignoring LSU, and by the time they figured out Bama wasn't offering, LSU had moved on to other guys on their board.
