Does he continue to build on a strong performance against Vanderbilt?

Does he lose carries to the younger guys?
Does Les force feed him even if he stalls?
Was last week a mirage of sorts?

How many carries will Ford, Murphy, Blue, and Ware receive?

Does Shep/Jefferson combine for 20 carries again?
50 Rushing attempts, first time LSU has broke 40 since Tulane last year and something LSU only accomplished 3 times last year.

IDK but when Shep has the ball in his hands I find myself standing up ready for him to break one Reggie Bush Esque!!!!

I'd honestly like to see our passing game setup the run. But, realistically Ridley should get 10-15 carries a game.

**I also believe whoever has the hot hand in the backfield should get the ball that game.

This is why Jefferson needs to step up in the passing game and actually use the weapons we have.

State better hit him behind the line... and I don't think they have but 3 TFL on the season.

Ridley will have the biggest year of any LSU tailback since Faulk...unless, of course, he doesn't.

if he has the hot had this week and in future games he should get most of the carries. If not, I'd use him in short yard situations and in the flats.

I would like to see the breakdown of carries something like:

Ridley 15-18
Shep 6-7
Ware/Ford/Blue about 4-5 each.

Enough carries for the young guys to seperate themselves.

Reminds me a little of a young Charles Scott. Not flashy exactly but a slasher and a downhill runner who can twist by some tackles and keep his feet under him after he's hit.

I expect the same steady diet of those up the middle Iso & Power running plays with much less success than what you saw against Vandy.

and stop all of this spread option shite with Jefferson (he didn't run it in highschool and he shouldn't run it now). Put RS in at the quarterback position and let him run the option with Ridley,Ford or Blue

Ridley has the best first cut of any LSU RB since a skinny Justin Vincent in 2003.

We need to feed the beast. But we also need to move to a pro-style offense which I don't see happening.

Pretty much all of AU's success rushing came on the edges, so I'd expect Blue to be LSU's best bet there.

I'll admit, I am not a huge Ridley supporter, I would love to see Ware/Blue/Ford get bulk of carries as I think they bring more to the table. However, if Ridley continues to perform way he did against Vandy then LSU will have a special year with a big back.
