How bad was Herm Edwards in the ESPNU broadcast?

I think he was among the worst broadcasters I have ever listened to. . .

all i know is he whispered a lot like someone was easedropping on his commentary!
but you gotta give him credit on some of the shite he said about LSU!

Herm was not good, but that other guy doing play by play was the worst I have ever heard and I mean ever.

He was insisting that penalties were causing the offense to shoot themselves in the foot, which by itself is not a wrong statement except that we had 0 offensive penalties at that time

I like Herm as a pro analyst. He was unwatchable Saturday. I can't imagine he would have any desire to be there.

He WAS horrible. Half the time, (if not more), the stuff they were saying wasn't even accurate.
