outside of 1 position. One of the best defensive performances I've seen from LSU. A lot of positives from tonight, outside of the QB play. Our wide receivers are great and our Dline is ridiculously improved

They have potential to be really great, but they're not there yet. It would help if we could pass it better to them. But we've had a good number of drops last game with good passes.

But we had more drops this game because of bad passes.

Too bad for us it's the most critical position. Can't get to Atlanta with that kind of QB play.

We have not been able to accurately judge the receivers without getting them the ball

+1 JJ won't be able to take this great team to the promised land....I know Lee had his issues early on but he is truely our best shot at making it to Atlanta.

Good posts in this thread.

Seems like to me our best shot of having a successful season and having an offense that can move the ball, is to scrap the gimmicky shotgun 4 WR/spread offense. We don't have a QB that can run it effectively unless #8 is our secret weapon... LOL

We didn't start dominating offensively until we went I-formation and started running the ball, playing to a strength (backs/oline) rather than a weakness (QB).

Scrap the gimmick wizardry, and line up and play some smash mouth football. As a fan, it's much more satisfying to see our O dominate, possess the ball, and put together long drives. To see a back go over 100 yds. It's been a while it seems.

Finally, did we see Miles take over the play calling the 4th? Something changed, and it made all the difference in the game IMO FWIW YMMV>

Unfortunately, its a very pertinent position that we are struggling very very bad with.

Defense looks great. Probably the fastest defense I've seen at LSU. I really don't want to bash JJ, but its obvious that after two games, he's clearly not the answer.

Play calling was pretty bad too, I say can that frickin' option play!

Can't complain about being 2-0! Off to a good start!
