He just said he hasn't been contacted by Michigan, doesn't mean he won't be contacted after the bowl game!
Should have swept ATL, if Hartley didnt miss a game winning 27 yard FG the 1st game! :doublebird:
Morris' homerun and watching both the 2003 and 2007 Bowl Selection Show announcing the Tigers in the NCG

I'm tired of defending Miles. I'm not a negatiger, but its obvious he needs to go and the whole Nation knows it!

Now, we can see what he does without those players, and it isn't much really.

I think we have the talent, executing is the problem. JaMarcus looked horrible his 1st two years and played great his Junior year. I was hoping this was the same for JJ, but it doesnt look like its gonna happen. Maybe JL matured enough to play big, until he throws his 1st pick-6 then we'll know we are screwed....Damn you Zach Lee! :spank:

If you look at his stats as a OC

Even here at LSU!

I just saw that they have another thread about Miles taking over the playcalling in the 2nd half!

He should have clearly pulled the trigger on Crowton at the end of last year

Seems like he's a one hit wonder. If you look at his stats as a OC, he always does well in his 1st year as OC. Oregon and BYU had the top Offense in his 1st year there. Then the decline! I hear so many different rumors about Miles over ruling Crowton's play calling during the game, but in the 2nd half, it looks like Miles took over. I seen him on the sideline with what look like the laminate playbook cheatsheet!

maybe you have a bad feed to your house

Maybe, it seems just its just that channel. Last baseball season, I had the same problems. Every other channel works great. Cant complain though, at least I was able to watch the game :geauxtigers:

I feel like we haven't seen that at all since 07

Man, I was just telling somebody this the other day. Its been awhile since we seen a Tiger in the backfield like the old days like Lavalais, Dorsey, Spears, Hill, etc.

Good to see Nevis step up and Mingo is a Beast, a FAST beast!

It's not real impressive

Man, its just Vanilla.... I got tired of seeing the same plays over and over. The Jefferson play action keeper, the end around to Shepard(which only worked once on that TD!). Very boring. It would be different if it was effective!
Defense looks great. Probably the fastest defense I've seen at LSU. I really don't want to bash JJ, but its obvious that after two games, he's clearly not the answer.

Play calling was pretty bad too, I say can that frickin' option play!

Can't complain about being 2-0! Off to a good start! :geauxtigers:

JJ can't make his mistakes against the better SEC teams like that.

Wasnt talking about the option play, that was all Blue. I was referring to his bad game play throughout.

On the positive note:

I saw a lot of young talent on the field. I like the fact that the best player will see the field regardless if youre a true freshman or not.

On the negative:

I wasn't too impressed with the play calling. I mean really, how many times do you have the frick up the option before you can it from the playbook? JJ can't make his mistakes against the better SEC teams like that.

I'm glad Ridley had a break out game, that kid took a beating on here last week. I even think Herm Edwards mentioned that on ESPNU.

P.S. ESPNU sucks azz in BR (picture and sound was horrible)

The Option

Posted by ForeverLSU14 on 9/11/10 at 12:33 pm
I'm watching the GT and KU game. I see GT running the option to perfection and was wondering, with the talent we have, why can't we run it like that? :banghead:
