Any new things you tried lately? Or twists on originals?

Fiance did some brownies last weekend. I took some strawberries and rolled them in powdered sugar and then put on grill for few minutes, put ice cream on the brownies, put strawberries on top and drizzled with chocolate syrup...awesome!

I was gonna post the same thing. Thinking about messing with some beef tongue and armadillo eggs this weekend. Anybody got some suggestions?

i did armadillo eggs last week in atlanta, they were a big hit. i fired up the grill last night and threw a couple of rib eyes on there. i also grilled some aspharagus, hit it with a little olive oil, some lemon juice and seasonings and it came out great. i also hollowed out some zucchinni filled it with a goat cheese/garlic/herb mixture and it also was very good.

it was; wife and i knocked out the pound of okra pretty quickly. i just threw them loose on the grill but, in retrospect, the skewer route they suggest would have made turning all of them easier...especially after a few beers...

Grilled some fresh pineapple last week with ribs and yardbird. It's good that way.

Slice skin off of pineapple, cut in rings, rub with clear rum and brown sugar, grill. Awesome with ice cream.

Watermelon- cut in to squares, grill on both sides, put on plate, add micro greens and drizzle with balsamic, add some a dollop of half creme fresh/ sour cream mix to top, serve as appetizer-excellent and refreshing

Not really a new thing but, new to me. Grilled some corn on the cob last weekend. Took about 6 ears, still in the husk, removed the silk, soaked the corn in a pot of water for about an hour. Threw em on the grill for about 15-20 minutes. Took em off and cover em in butter. They were a huge hit. I'm not a big corn on the cob fan but these things were so tender and juicy that I may change my opinion.
