Can't really put that on Miles.

I think that would be on Frank.

The blame lies with Ridley. He has been playing football most of his life. I'm sure he attended many football camps over the years and has had many coaches work with him. I blame Ridley if anyone is to be blamed. If it continues, put him on the bench and give another running back an opportunity to get the job done.End of story.

So the ref at the end of the line that had a perfect view of the play makes no call. The umpire behind the play throws the flag. Miles should be screaming from the mountain tops about that call and the on sides kick call.

but his arms sure as hell look extended and fixed the entire time, and his guy is locked up from start to finish.

From the angle shown, it is hard to determine what happened on the play.View of the block is hard to see. It's hard to see how the ref could see anything.

The ref was thinking "It's Hebert. No way he could have pancaked that guy without holding."

You keep thinking he's good. All I'm gonna say....

no one said he was good, they said the criticism of the UNC game wasn't just.

You have serious reading comprehension problems

This comes from a source that was at the game, a very credible source:

"T-Bob cost us 10 points in the matter of two plays. He commits a hold on Ridley's touchdown, where his hold had no effect on what Ridley would have done. ( I do agree this was a bs penalty) then, he was out in no man's land when Jefferson had his intentional grounding penalty. Jefferson, running for his life, quickly saw an LSU jersey where you would expect your running back or safety valve (if there was one that play) to be, yet it was T-Bob nowhere close to the rest of the linemen."

I was at the game and have re-watched it twice. Your source is certainly entitled to their opinion. So am I. Your source is wrong on both counts. Their was NO hold on that play. A clean block that was misjudged by an incompetant official; One of the same incompetants who later allowed UNC to illegally interfere on the onside kick and forgot that the ground can't cause a fumble on the Murphy play. The grounding sack was on no one but JJ. Absurd to say otherwise. He was man enough to admit it after the game. Now if your source wants to say that Ridley, Jasper and JJ cost the Tigers 13-16 points, I totally agree with that.

I love how everyone keeps saying the holding call was BS, but I'd like you to show me a view they showed on TV that was better than the ump's. Some of you can magically see through other human beings and it is quite amazing.

If T-Bob is so money, why wasn't he starting?

The guy got manhandled.

He definitely didn't play as bad as a lot of people who don't know shite are saying. However, I did see Hurst get over powered on a rather large number of plays.

How about the line judge looking right at the play. He doesn't throw a flag. The umpire assumed it was holding because Hebert took him down.

Line judges don't generally call holds, the umpires do, so that is kind of counter to your point.

I don't know if it was, but from the angle shown on TV there was no way to say definitively that it was a blown call.
