Maybe I was jaded going in but I hated it. And I'm fully capable of admitting when a mainstream movie is good/funny. I'm not that big of a snob. I love Stepbrothers for example. But hated the Hangover.
I think the way it had about 1/2 the threads on this board for 2 weeks got my expectations way up.

The re-watchability of the Hangover is terrible. I can watch Step Brothers or Old School and still enjoy it.

There is always a guy like you on here. What do you find funny. Old School was hilarious. Good ensemble cast. Will Ferrell not overwhelming a movie.
Hangover is funny as hell. Just don't know what people are looking for sometimes in a movie.

I loved Old School. Luke Wilson has always been the best at letting other people play off him. Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell were at their best.

The Hangover is easily one of the most overrated comedies in my lifetime. Not to say I hated it like you did, but some on here proclaimed it the best comedy ever which it was not.
Hang has zero rewatchability. Step Brothers gets better each time I watch it.
Oh and back on topic, I agree that Old School is also highly overrated. Decent flick, just like The Hangover but not even close to my favorites.

Old School to me is like Animal House. Just a fricking Classic.
Hangover was funny and all. And I've seen it a couple times.
But to me in terms of the word "classic movie" there's no comparison.
