My gf was in a wedding on the bama game in 08..she had a ticket to go with me to the game..she backed out so I asked my friend and we had a blast, missed my cousins wedding last year during the auburn game(along with my dad, her other uncle, and her grandpa... How hard is it to just not have a wedding on gameday?..the bye week was the very next week

I got married during the Saints-Cowboys game. We felt bad about it, but it wasn't our fault as they moved the game after everything was planned.

Everyone still showed up and was cool about it though.

The wedding was in New Orleans.

Dude the point is that instead of having your wedding on a different day where you can have a blast at your reception with your friends cutting up and everything, they are going to be sitting in a separate room watching the game. And if you think you will be in there for more than 2 minutes at a time you are really in denial.

Was in a wedding for the kentucky game 2 years ago. We were all watching the game dressed in tuxs. It was such an intense game the groom said we weren't leavin till it was over. Unfortunately we lost but we walked into the church full of guests 30 min after it was supposed to start. It was a Ballsy move and supprisingly he is still married today.
